Powder Defoamers

A powder or granular antifoam is composed of active defoaming chemistry (typically silicone) which is applied to a carrier particle and dried. In cases of cement production or detergent, the powder antifoam can be added as a raw material to the mixture or as a process control agent directly into the slurries. Powder antifoam is more temperature resistant during storage than the liquid alternative and can be helpful in environments where conditions are extreme. SIXIN produces several different kinds of powder antifoam and most certainly has a product for everyone.

Granule Defoamers

Granule defoamers are primarily used in detergents where the bulk density is on the lower end of the spectrum. The appearance and handling is similar to a crushed noodle, and can sometimes be referred to as such!

Powder Defoamers

A powder defoamer is similar in appearance and feel to light sand with uniform particles and higher bulk density than granules. We offer several kinds of powder with varying active content ranges and carrier types.

Non-Silicone Powder Defoamers

Creating a powder defoamer without the use of silicone based actives is not common for most producers, but essential for applications such as premixed dry mortar. The use of antifoam actives on a very light carrier create an easy to use product with.

Cluster Powder

Cluster powders are used in direct use applications where you may need to toss or spread the powder without it being misdirected by the wind or air. These antifoams may have a consistency similar to brown sugar and are highly functional at high temperatures.
